Grœnland auditions

Stalked by dark and mounting horrors, an isolated religious colony must survive until winter. 

Trapped on an island on the brink of collapse, a medieval colony struggles for survival against strange visitors, old gods, and the coming harrowing winter. Greenlanders and their marooned guests wrestle with what there is left to believe in at the end of the world, what it is to live in the maw of death, and what it is to be a wild creature on a wild planet. The spirit of nature possesses a grieving boy, a priest is driven to madness and self-mutilation by God’s absence and an opportunistic psychopath, a woman races to build a raft to sail away on the Arctic sea, and two folks fall in love as the entire colony starves to death. Good times!
